What do you do?
I solve problems, big and small using a combination of Strategy, User Experience, Design and Technology in interesting ways.
My two drives are to learn and make things.
Some are good for the world, others are good for business.
I spend a great deal of time trying to find the right balance.
Where are you from?
Is what most people ask when they first meet me, so here is my spiel.
I am a 3rd culture kid born in Sweden, moved to Poland, grew up in Malaysia, educated in Czech Republic, finished school in Ukraine, and freelanced in Indonesia.
After spending some time in Jakarta, I became a nomadic business traveler doing loops from Hong Kong to Canada, United States and Malaysia. I wanted to study more so I graduated Bachelor with Honours in Graphic Design from Central Saint Martins and now am based in London.
Originally from Sweden and Poland, but home is where my family is.
Why do you do?
I have been taking things apart to see how they work since I was a child.
Fascinate by technology I started programming and moved to 3D animation through scripting.
With the availability of the internet I found a way to combine these with web design and have been doing so since 1998. In 2006 I formalized my way of working through User Centered Design and Development.
Every place has a different name for it, Creative Technology, User Centered Design, UX, UI, ABCDEFG...
I think of it as using the right tools for the job, and helping solve comlex problems.
How do you do?
How do you do, to you too. =]
Basically, my experiences both professionally and personally allow me to blend User Experience, Design and Front End Development to make me a Creative Technologist.
My background allows me to communicate and work effectively with any team, from any location and bring value to the project by pushing it further in an efficient agile manner.
I help bring teams together, and work better towards a common goal.
Looking for?
I enjoy solving problems, working closely with Developers and Designers.
I am often the go to person for complex projects that often seem out of reach to find an elegant, efficient, and innovative solution.
